The problem is every time I use it (cat /kernel >/dev/audio) I hear a short noise (ca. 1s) and then nothing (ca. 9s). This repeats periodically. Another issue is that the mixer isn't working as expected; line-in is controlled by 'synth'. Here some info. The card is probed as pcm0: at port 0x534-0x537,0x388-0x38b,0x220-0x22f irq 9 drq 1,0 on isa0 pcm: setmap 3a000, ff00; 0xc7ca6000 -> 3a000 pcm: setmap 4a000, ff00; 0xc7cb6000 -> 4a000 and 'cat /dev/sndstat' gives FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Aug 28 2000 21:52:52 Installed devices: pcm0: at io 0x534 irq 9 drq 1:0 (1p/1r channels duplex) Sometimes I can read in messages > pcm0: hwptr went backwards 16956 -> 5668 I can send you the output of dmesg and pnpinfo on demand. bye es tnx -- Tobias Reifenberger -- treif@mayn.de -- DG1NGT GEE e* dpu s:- a-- C+++ UB+++ L- W+ N+ w--- Y+ tv+ b++ D++ h++ r--- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
