Maybe try building the loader with 'LOADER_NO_GPT_SUPPORT=yes' in jh> /etc/src.conf? Thanks, a recompiled loader with LOADER_NO_GPT_SUPPORT=yes' displayed "elf32_loadimage: could not read symbols - skipped!" for 8.0R kernel. This is the same as 7.1R's loader + 8.0R kernel case. -- Hiroki ----Security_Multipart(Thu_Dec__3_19_29_13_2009_948)-- Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (FreeBSD) iEYEABECAAYFAksXkvkACgkQTyzT2CeTzy2zHgCgz/Nvk+mauqdPW6/yCzwWFXz3 TwMAoKKQEOz9jOfESvQiISc6+10ICtEA =uOrt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ----Security_Multipart(Thu_Dec__3_19_29_13_2009_948)----
