I can't really recommend drives for ccd configurations, since I don't run
one, but I have had 0 problems with my IBM UltraStar 2ES Ultra-Fast drive
and at $350 it's a pretty good deal.  I haven't got 40 MB transfers going
becauase either the 53c875 driver doesn't support them or I haven't gotten
it configured right, but I have been happy with it.
