Hubbard" Sender: owner-cvs-all@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk Actually, I should point out that growing mailboxes (e.g. those which either aren't read at all or just have people popping the mail off with "preserve" set) are a real problem on hub and, as of today, anyone with a mailbox larger than 2MB on hub will have that mailbox TRUNCATED. Sorry, but we've tried out best and people are still letting email stack up. Those who have lots of email queued and also haven't even logged in or popped their mail off in at least 6 months will also have their accounts removed as stale - I'm doing a big purge today as the number of "dead" accounts has simply grown beyond any reasonable point. - Jordan > > I guess in less than 1/2 hour the disk is full ;-( > > wosch@hub <00:15:28> [/var] 526 > bash$ df . > Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on > /dev/sd0s1e 496367 444870 11788 97% /var > > wosch@hub <00:15:24> [/var] 525 > $ du log mail > 235885 log > 161091 mail > > > -- > Wolfram Schneider http://www.de.freebsd.org/~w/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
