Unlike linux, the default behaviour will be to do what you want, make a
single 'slice',
and create all of your filesystems under that.

If you mean create one big / filesystem and install everything into that,
you can do that
to but it's not recommended. - At least if your /usr filesystem gives up you
can still boot
single user and try to fix it ;)
