https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D256416 --- Comment #2 from Neebz <vpguyrhpjltta@logicstreak.com> --- (In reply to Mark Linimon from comment #1) I'm Brazilian, I just installed FreeBSD 13 stable, when using the console a= nd trying to use the common shortcuts for ABNT2 keyboards (tried with different keyboards and different systems and configurations) they don't work. "Alt GR" + "q" just types "q" and not "/" "Alt GR" + "w" just types "w" and not "?" "Alt GR" + "e" just types "e" and not "=C2=B0" "Alt GR" + "c" just types "c" and not "=E2=82=A2" During the installation process the keyboard keymap is not listed as Brazil= ian ABNT and Brazilian ABNT2 but Brazilian with and without accent keys. This doesn't sound common or practical. We have 2 common keymaps here: ABNT and ABNT2. "Brazilian keymap with accent keys" sounds strange, doesn't sound li= ke something a brazilian will naturally recognize 'cause we don't use these te= rms over here. I don't know if this is the right channel but I would like these shortcuts = to be functional and the terms to be changed in the installation process. English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if what I'm saying doesn't sou= nd right or respectful, but it really made a difference for me and my colleagu= es. And if it is possible also to change the rc.conf terms to keymap to "keymap=3Dabnt" and "keymap=3Dabnt2". I don't want to sound annoying but I figured it would make a lot of differe= nce to my college classmates. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
