The alternative is this, which it says is not listed as a good way, since messages here are not tracked and may get lost in the noise. (Looking at the ones I have checked in the main list, that may not be much different-- sound still doesn't work right, and XF86cfg apparently still doesn't know about lots of cards.) Anyway, it looks like the bug submission method is broken. The bug I was going to submit follows in the next message.
