It's amazing how easy it is to forget the obvious once it's no longer an issue. The '-p' option was added to mergemaster to deal with the problem that will bite you. So it's not there, yet. But it is in your source tree, so you can run it from there. You need to explicitly invoke it with the full path which should be: /usr/obj/usr/src/usr.sbin/mergemaster Of course, once you have completed this update, you will not have to do this again as '-p' is now a permanent part of mergemaster. -- R.
