I don't think that DG has commited my fix yet, but see if the problem goes away by removing the first !doingvmio check. I did not manifest the problem until last night (and boy was it irritating). The drives can make a fairly unpleasant sound, can't they?!?! :-). Hopefully, it'll be committed tonite... John
