Hi If you just want to be able to connect to services on the FreeBSD box from your XP box, then you should just give your XP box's internal network adapter and the FreeBSD box's network adapter an IP address withing the same internal subnet. For example give you XP box the address 10.0.0.1 and your FreeBSD box the address 10.0.0.2. The subnet mask on both should be 255.0.0.0 and that's it. Wouldn't it be nicer to have your FreeBSD box function as a NAT router and firewall?
