Dunno if this may relate in any way to anything, but I did notice many
"duplicate script for <foobar> ignored" messages flash by while doing
the make without the DEBUG flag.

These error messages started appearing in lots of different places in
-current ports just a few days ago.  Joe Marus Clarke says they are due
to a revision (1.38) of usr.bin/make/parse.c

I don't know if these errors harm anything or not, but they are new
AFAICT and perhaps have unmasked some new problem just in the last
two days or so on -current.
