Howver= the scope of the problem is greater than I initially reported. ESXi 5.1 ker= nel panics when doing shutdown guest OS on a FreeBSD 9.2 AMD64 guest using t= he vmware supplied tools, regardless of whether the NIC is vmnet3 or e1000.=20= Thanks, Josh Paetzel=
