I see it as advantage, that Mpd is not shipped with the base system, because we are not bundled with FreeBSD's release cycle, so we release more often new Mpd versions (new features, Bugfixes, etc.), then new FreeBSD versions are released. And Mpd is a FreeBSD only application, because it uses netgraph wich IS shipped with FreeBSD, so Mpd is "2nd 1/2 party software" :-). bye, -- ------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Michael Bretterklieber - http://www.bretterklieber.com A-Quadrat Automation GmbH - http://www.a-quadrat.at Tel: ++43-(0)3172-41679 - GSM: ++43-(0)699 12861847 ------------------------------- ---------------------------------- "...the number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected..." - Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson, June 1972
