I was running into the same problem (with 5.0-RELEASE) that yokase described, until I upgraded the i2000's BIOS from 103E to 117C. Now I'm having a different problem: I can't make fxp0 work. It's not a hardware problem, since the NIC works fine with Windows XP. I'll describe the problem in detail in another thread... tomorrow.
