I've attached my cvsupfile = and my refuse file to give you an idea as to how this works. I placed my cvsupfile in /usr/local/etc and the refuse file goes in = /user/local/etc/sup. I then call cvsup -g -L 2 /usr/local/etc/cvsupfile. The directory = locations are based on the settings within the cvsupfile. -Randy -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org] On Behalf Of stan Sent: Wednesday, February 04, 2004 8:21 AM To: Free BSD Questions list Subject: Where can I find a list of the cvsup tags for ports? I want to omit some of the ports from my cvsup run. I've always used the ports-all tag, but these days there a a good many non English language = ports that only use space on my disks. I would like to limit the collections. Probably by excluding certain = ports subtags, rather than explicitly including the ones I want, as I think = this would be more robust relative to future additions. Where can I find a list? And what's the syntax of the exclude statement? --=20 "They that would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to = "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" ------=_NextPart_000_00BF_01C3EAFA.DEEB9310 Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="refuse" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="refuse" ports/astro=0A= ports/biology=0A= ports/cad=0A= ports/deskutils=0A= ports/emulators=0A= ports/games=0A= ports/palm=0A= ports/science=0A= ports/x11=0A= ports/x11-clocks=0A= ports/x11-clocks=0A= ports/x11-fm=0A= ports/x11-fonts=0A= ports/x11-servers=0A= ports/x11-toolkits=0A= ports/x11-wm=0A= ports/arabic=0A= ports/chinese=0A= ports/french=0A= ports/german=0A= ports/hebrew=0A= ports/hungarian=0A= ports/japanese=0A= ports/korean=0A= ports/polish=0A= ports/portuguese=0A= ports/russian=0A= ports/ukrainian=0A= ports/vietnamese=0A= doc/da_*=0A= doc/de_*=0A= doc/el_*=0A= doc/es_*=0A= doc/fr_*=0A= doc/it_*=0A= doc/ja_*=0A= doc/nl_*=0A= doc/no_*=0A= doc/pl_*=0A= doc/pt_*=0A= doc/ru_*=0A= doc/sr_*=0A= doc/zh_*=0A= ------=_NextPart_000_00BF_01C3EAFA.DEEB9310 Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="cvsupfile" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="cvsupfile" *default host=3Dcvsup2.FreeBSD.org=0A= *default base=3D/usr/local/etc=0A= *default prefix=3D/usr=0A= *default release=3Dcvs delete use-rel-suffix=0A= *default tag=3D.=0A= ports-all=0A= ------=_NextPart_000_00BF_01C3EAFA.DEEB9310--
