    Make sure you have the additional devices created in /dev (do a
"cd /dev ; ./MAKEDEV vty8" to make 8 ttyv* devices).  Then look in
your /etc/ttys file and duplicate and edit the lines starting with
"ttyv" so that a login prompt will be waiting for you on each virtual
console.
