I reinstalled XFree86 with the new tarball mentioned below and it did not correct the problem. I am still getting the following message: /usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "___inet_addr" called from communicator-4.5.bin:/usr/X11R6/lib/aout/libX11.so.6.1 at 0x20c3d944 It looks like the library mentioned in the message "libX11.so.6.1" was not rebuilt in this new tarball. The datestamp on the file is still back in December 1998.
