I had looked up the PR in my local copy of the GNATS DB (which is CVSup'ed once a day), since I needed a working port of PfaEdit. I normally change the 'Responsible:' field of the PRs that I'm interested in at the time of starting work on them. This helps others scanning the PR list from unknowingly duplicating work. Freefall's copy of this PR had the 'Responsible:' field set to freebsd-bugs at the time I looked and I missed the fact that the PR itself had been closed :(.
