I wanted to reinstall it however (yes for no particular reason) and of = course it paniced... the only thing that has change is the ethernet card....now I havnt = gotten a chance to take it out yet but I know its going to work...my = questions are these : what does the below panic mean exactly, and where is there a database = that lists common panics, and the exact order in which=20 things get compiled and configured during the install. Oh and if = possible...can I configure the kernal initially somehow so that it = doesn't panic, so I can keep my cheapo ethernet card? (even if I have to = modify the kernels code I would still like to know)...ahh, and one more = question (sorry) ...how can I dump panic info (during the install of = course) to a file (or serial port) so I don't have to hand type these in = the future?
