https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D270579 kaltheat <kaltheat@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|New |Closed Resolution|--- |Works As Intended --- Comment #3 from kaltheat <kaltheat@gmail.com> --- Unfortunately, I cannot reach the scanner whenever I want so I cannot test thoroughly. Somehow I did not realize the pkg-message and the hint to the special Readme-file. After having read it and following the instructions (mainly installing net/epsonscan2-non-free-plugin from ports), I could start the GUI and scan single-shots (even via sane scanimage). batch-scanning via scanimage did not work at the moment. I had a peek into the source code and it really seems kind of messy and lot= of work to patch it (Thank you, J.R. Oldroyd !). But it also seemed to me that= the newer version of epsonscan mainly added more scanner models, so that the existing patches could "easily" be adapted since most of the necessary patc= hing work was already done by Oldroyd. I would consider this issue solved. Thanks for your help! --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
