I'm glad you figured that out by yourself. I should have posted a heads-up on this change to -stable earlier, sorry. P.S. "options NETSMB" will tell to compile NETSMB in the main kernel file, which requires additional options, LIBMCHAIN and LIBICONV. OTOH, they are auto-loaded as modules when smbfs is a module, too. -- Yar
