https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D207556 Koop Mast <kwm@FreeBSD.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |kwm@FreeBSD.org --- Comment #2 from Koop Mast <kwm@FreeBSD.org> --- All the orca files are installed regardless if the python3 bindings of speech-dispatch are installed or not. And unless I read the configure wrong= it only does reporting if speech-dispatcher is available on build-time or not. the speechdispatcherfactory.py file has the following:
try: import speechd except: _speechd_available =3D False else: _speechd_available =3D True try: getattr(speechd, "CallbackType") except AttributeError: _speechd_version_ok =3D False else: _speechd_version_ok =3D True
So it check on run-time if speech-dispatcher is available or not. Could you= be more specific why you think orca is miss-configured? --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are on the CC list for the bug.=
