Hi, Randy - That one just surfaced for me, too, as of last Friday night. Didn't happen on my console, only when I tried to ftp-connect. The problem was solved by a reboot, but I'd sure like to know what caused it. My theory is that xscreensaver in 2.2.5 has a lot of spawning failures, and something is leaking heap memory.
