there is something. but i want a project where i can set my own speed. where i
can switch from one point to the another. so a "new" project seemed to fit
best.

ok. another try: IMHO if i had never ported/written a filesystem myself i don't
knew the beast exactly.
i heard classes at university about filesystems in theory - but that is the
easy thing - i think. the pages at ibm will be the start lecture. and the code
published by them.

thanks a lot. this week i got my computers in the appartment. modem still
missing. but i will start to read a little bit of kernel code as
"gute-nacht-lektuere". ;)
