Could someone help out in this matter? I have been running 3.0 with the following config whitout any problems at all. Tyan S-1668 Dual P6 { 2 P6 200/256, BIOS 5.1, 256 MB RAM } ASUS SC875 { NCR UW } 2 4.3 UW Quantum Intel 100 { fxp0 } Diamond FIRE GL 1000 Pro Now I had to change to: Tyan S-1668 Dual P6 { 2 P6 200/256, BIOS 5.1, 256 MB RAM } 1 6.4 UDMA Seagate Medalist a ~$20 ne2000 compatible network card { dis PNP } Diamond FIRE GL 1000 Pro The could run for a day or two(or 20 min) and then it's just get fatal trap 12 and the kernel dumps. It doesn't matter if I run in dual or uni CPU mode. When I compile something, cc sometimes stop becuase of internal error. How can I get the complete kernel msg when it dumps? Has it something to do with UDMA? Has it something to do with NE2000? { the BIOS has dis PNP also } Thanks in advance Stefan Lindgren UNIX System Consultant Phone: +46 709 220 770 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-smp" in the body of the message
