Yes.

But if you kill -9 the dbus process, it completes successfully.
gnome@ people were looking into it back when the issue was new, and 
figured out nothing.

Can you check ~pav/bin/pointykill, you might want to deploy it on i386.
It's a crude workaround but it works.
