We're by now in a state where I'm aware of only one remaining (albeit small) issue with the patch, and where we feel confident to call for others testing it. miwi published a Call for Testing (CFT) on his blog, http://miwi.cc/2016/01/cftcentos-6-7-userland-update/, and you can help us out by taking it for a spin with for example your favorite games/linux- things (or anything else that uses Linux, really) and reporting back whether it works as flawless as we hope, or whether something crashed for weird reasons and whether we should investigate it . The instructions are in the patch above, but basically. what you have to do is: 1. Download the patch. 2. Apply the patch. 3. Test things. 4. Report back. Also with the variation that you'll be able to take the 64 bit variants for a spin if you put this into make.conf before installing any of the linux_base-c6 or linux-c6-* ports. OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=c6_64 OVERRIDE_LINUX_NONBASE_PORTS=c6_64 So, that's about it. Please get back to us (emulation@) and tell us your experience.
