I just removed the whole ports tree and got the latest ports collection from cvsup.freebsd.org, but i keep getting the same error ! When i do a make clean in the dir, i takes a long time (because of pear not being installed and all) before anything happens (as if the session was hangin) and then i get the following output: make clean make: Max recursion level (500) exceeded.: Resource temporarily unavailable make: Max recursion level (500) exceeded.: Resource temporarily unavailable make: Max recursion level (500) exceeded.: Resource temporarily unavailable make: Max recursion level (500) exceeded.: Resource temporarily unavailable ===> Cleaning for pear-Archive_Tar-1.3.1 ===> Cleaning for libiconv-1.9.2_1 ===> Cleaning for gettext-0.14.4_1 ===> Cleaning for gmake-3.80_2 ===> Cleaning for libtool-1.5.10_1 ===> Cleaning for pear-Console_Getopt-1.2 ===> Cleaning for pear-XML_RPC-1.2.2 ===> Cleaning for php5-pcre-5.0.4_2 ===> Cleaning for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 ===> Cleaning for pkgconfig-0.17.2 ===> Cleaning for php5-5.0.4_2 ===> Cleaning for libxml2-2.6.19 ===> Cleaning for php5-xml-5.0.4_2 ===> Cleaning for pear-PEAR-1.3.5 What to do ?? -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Vasil Dimov [mailto:vd@datamax.bg] Verzonden: vrijdag 17 juni 2005 8:28 Aan: Avinash Piare CC: FreeBSD-ports@freebsd.org Onderwerp: Re: pear install issue -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 On Fri, Jun 17, 2005 at 01:02:25AM +0200, Avinash Piare wrote: > Hi, > > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > ===> Installing for php5-pear-5.0.4_4 > ===> php5-pear-5.0.4_4 depends on executable: pear - not found > ===> Verifying install for pear in /usr/ports/devel/php5-pear > > So everytime i need pear i get the same error ".... depends on executable: > pear - not found" > > I removed my whole ports dir and got a new one from my cvs server, but > i still get the same error and it's driving my crazy not to be able to > locate the problem. I also tried to install /usr/port/devel/pear-PEAR, > and i get the same error as above ".... depends on executable: pear - > not found" How can that be, as i'm installing it ?? > Hmm, where do you cvs(up) from? I can install devel/php5-pear without problems on 5.4 with /usr/ports updated a few hours ago. You can grep for something suspicious in *DEPENDS variables in the Makefiles laying around. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQFCsm2GFw6SP/bBpCARAnEQAJ9oFzLDL7y8M1u1Fs3L22WJacSEEgCdE6l5 TZYQXkVuoh2RRX1sT2g8sFM= =5v56 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
