Ive buy a new notebook, Asus M6N, im heard its almost fully suported on freebsd, even with the intel wireless stuff. Its a centrino, and have a qustion. Is there something similar to this in freebsd? http://www.xs4all.nl/~bsamwel/laptop_mode/ "Laptop mode is a kernel "mode" that allows you to extend the battery life of your laptop. It does this by intelligently grouping write activity on your disks, so that only reads of uncached data result in a disk spinup. It has been reported to cause a significant improvement in battery life" battery life is importat to me, as where i travel, there have no electricity.... thanks you in advance ____________________ Phillip Neumann phillip@chile.com
