All keyboard functionality is gone. After changing the keyboard (which was a Mitsubishi Diamond touch) to a Logitech or MS keyboard and restarted the installation, the keyboard worked fine. Thought that the problem was 4.2-RELEASE related so built a 4-STABLE environment and booted the machine with the Diamond keyboard. Again the keyboard hung (got the login prompt and that was all). Later, tried booting with a MS and Logitech keyboard(s), and successful. From what I observe, there may be issues related to the Diamond keyboard and FreeBSD keyboard driver, since a Logitech or MS keyboard worked flawlessly. The same system, with the Diamond kb, installed and ran 3.x just fine but for some reason hangs on a 4.x tree. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: Don't use a Diamond keyboard with an Asus CUSL2-C motherboard with FreeBSD 4. Logitech and MS work fine though. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
