I've got simular problems, only on a dual xeon on a ASUS board
I think it's an ACPI problem of the ASUS bios. There are more problems
with ASUS bios'es.

So I'm trying to disable ACPI in the kernel etc. Using 6.1-RC1

I'll post the results
