Hmm. I don't want a backout. I think the best way is "Don't do backout. Solve problems before 4.5-RELEASE". Problem list is: o tcsh There already exists a patch. Issei-san posted the patch to i18n ML (and other MLs) about 7 months ago. o ports I think we can fix many (not all) of the ports which do not support *.euc* locale. I don't know the exact schedule of ports tree freeze. So, please tell us the deadline for ports fix. > portsmgr@ or re@ Alexey Zelkin wrote: : Also there's possible option to mention that usage of *.eucXX locale is : prohibited (full compatiblity with *.EUC is preserved now). Mention that : eucXX locales are not fully supported now may be enough, but developers : should decide. Right. We can use this option. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Motoyuki Konno motoyuki@bsdclub.org (Home) motoyuki@FreeBSD.ORG (FreeBSD Project) http://www.freebsd.org/~motoyuki/ (WWW) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
