If you only have 6-12 network devices to manage I can think of several open source tools that will do the job. The only real high point I see with it is it gives us a layer2 view of our switched ethernet/atm network. Oh yeah, did I mention that it really helps to be in a Cisco heterogeneous world? One of my big griefs with it is I can't get to the data that is stored in it's database.
