Hello - I am attempting to tighten up a server I've recently put into service and would like to know how I disable the sunrpc service (udp and tcp, port 111). I am also concerned about syslog, as it seems to be actively listening for UDP packets and I would like to shut down all unnecessary services. Obviously syslog needs to run; is there any way to stop it from listening? Or am I being overly cautious?
