i'm now 100% sure that buffer.c is causing the problem. what i did to verif=
y
this was:

cd sys/modules/sound/sound && make CC=3Dclang && touch
=2E./../../dev/sound/pcm/buffer.c && make CC=3Dgcc && make install

this gives me working sound!
