Easiest way is to use cvsup (you'll need to do this as root): cvsup -g -L2 /usr/share/examples/cvsup/ports-supfile This will update your ports tree. HINT: You'll need to edit ports-supfile to change where it points to for the updates. If your in the US, I recommend cvsup2.freebsd.org, or, you can use /usr/ports/sysutils/fastest_cvsup to find one for you. Good luck!
