If everybody thinks that way, there will be no documentation.
It's just the nature of a fast-moving project like this.
Seriously, please reconsider. I'll commit my changes (both to
bsd.port.mk and porting.sgml) in a while. The stuff should stay
stable for a while (modulo the MLINKS change, if any), so now's going
to be a good time to write something down. :)
