Currently, the only consumer of 7.2.x in the ports/ tree is FreePascal version 1.0.10 (lang/fpc-base is the meta-port). Maintainer has been contacted by the postgresql maintainer with no response, and there is also an fpc-devel (relating to the newer betas moving towards 2.0) so I don't expect this to be a problem. As it stands right now, however, with postgresql72 being removed from the tree, lang/fpc-base and associated ports will be tagged as BROKEN for a fairly short period before removal. If there are any FreePascal 1.0.10 users out there, now would be a REALLY GOOD time to either move to fpc-devel, or rip databases/fpc-postgresql to pieces, making it work with either postgresql 7.3.x or 7.4.x (or even 8.0.x if you want to be scary :) -aDe
