Given the relatonship ] [ between -current and -stable, I'm hoping that someone on this list ] [ will have both the knowlege and the time to respond. ] I've recently upgraded from 2.05 to 2.1R and then -stable (through CVS 0063). One of my reasons for doing so was to obtain support for the MBR-7 CD-ROM changer. I noticed that it was mounting all seven logical units during some of the intermediate states of my upgrades; but don't seem to be recognized now. I have rebuilt my kernel with 'options "MAX_LUN=8"'; and I have the appropriate /dev entries. But the boot probe doesn't find the extra logical units and mount attempts claim that the units aren't configured (which is expected, given that the probe didn't find them...) I've included the first part of the boot log below, with the timestamp and kernel ids trimmed off for readability. Is there anything else that I need to do to get this to work? (Yes, I did try searching the mailing list archives; but didn't find anything appropriate.)
