Recently, we focused on the complex and very time consuming task of getting the QT4.5 ports into much better shape so we can now go on the next step: much wider public testing. At the moment we would actually benefit from wider testing of the well prepared QT 4.5.1 FreeBSD builds. this will give us a better opportunity and more time to identify and eventually correct FreeBSD specific problems. I've cc'ed all Maintainers of ports that use QT-4, asking them to test QT4.5 with their maintained applications to make sure they build and work without problems. If you need help to fix your port please let us know, we are willing to help you to get this solved. You can get qt-4.5 ports from our area51 repo: svn co http://area51.pcbsd.org/branches/qt-4.5/ More Details about the area51 checkout can you find at http://freebsd.kde.org/access.php And last of all, this would not have been possible without our contributors and testers: David Johnson David Naylor Chuck Robey Bartosz Fabianowski Thomas Abthorpe That's all for the moment.
