Would it be possible to add a x11/nvidia-driver-devel port that will install the beta drivers? This is important because the beta driver has support for some of the new features of Gnome 2.16, but the normal driver does not. Also in the recent security scare over the nvidia driver, the beta driver already had already fixed the problem.
