Hi! I submitted the PR in the subject a while ago. It's still there. I also wrote directly to the maintainer a few weeks before submitting the PR without an answer. I know the port committers have a lot of work to do, but I'd just like to ask if someone could have a look at this PR before the ports freeze for 8.1 starts.
