Hi,

When I did a NIS set up a while ago with a recent build of 4.5-STABLE, I
noticed that if the NIS entry in the client password file looked like
+:*:::::, it disabled all the NIS accounts like a local entry with an
asterisk in the password field does. When I changed the entry to +::::::,
everything started working.

Hope this helps,
Martin
