I just got an Asus SC875 card (53c875 chip), and it seems to be running great so far... except for one weird thing: the activity LED doesn't work when in NetBSD. However, in MSDOS, Win95, and WinNT, it works just fine. I did notice that the light stays on solid at the OS-BS boot selector menu, and I know there's no disk activity going on at that time. Does this card have a software-controlled LED or something? That'd be kinda strange :) (kinda like the software-controllable power LED on Amigas :) Any ideas? And yeah, I know this is a FreeBSD list, not NetBSD, but NetBSD uses the FreeBSD driver, and Stefan Esser is here too :) But I did also boot a 3.0-970618-SNAP floppy, and saw the same thing.
