Gramps, a leading genealogy program that is written in python, requires the berkeley db package, revision 4.3. However, our databases/py-bsddb port would bring in db2+. A solution has long been suggested by gramps developers to replace "USE_BDB= yes" with "USE_BDB= 43+". See: http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=3228 Can someone with ports commit rights fix this thing? Thanks, Enoch.
