The patches in /usr/ports/print/apsfilter/files/patch-SETUP.in seem to be incorporated in the new apsfilter-7.2.4.tar.bz2. Removal of the patch-SETUP.in patch allowed the upgrade to proceed and printing a few test pages worked fine (as usual).
