Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this software and its documentation for any purpose and without fee is hereby granted... Does "and without fee" apply to granting permission, or does it apply to using, copying, modifying, and distributing? In the first case, we're fine. In the second case, we might have a problem. I don't have any real objections otherwise, and in any case I'm not the person doing the work, so it's certainly not my place to say "you can't do this".....
