It's almost impossible to give an accurate answer to questions like
this: it depends so much on what you're doing.  If you're running a
small number of number crunching programs, I would suspect that you
won't find any difference at all, unless the programs use lots of
virtual memory, in which case I would expect FreeBSD's VM system to
give better performance than Linux.
