I've got an Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 - supported by snd_envy24ht - in my desktop system and can confirm that recording doesn't work. While the mixer shows the recording channels all I get is noise. On the playback site the mixer also shows a lot non working channels: Mixer vol is currently set to 10:10 Mixer bass is currently set to 50:50 Mixer treble is currently set to 50:50 Mixer synth is currently set to 0:0 Mixer pcm is currently set to 50:50 Mixer speaker is currently set to 0:0 Mixer line is currently set to 75:75 Mixer mic is currently set to 0:0 Mixer cd is currently set to 0:0 Mixer mix is currently set to 0:0 The only working channels are "vol" and "pcm". The equaliter channels "treble" and "bass" have no effect. "synth", "speaker", "mic", "cd" and "mix" result in: mixer: WRITE_MIXER: Device not configured I'm happy to provide some more information, just send me the patches=20 to test.
