I'm turning off having a default in -CURRENT as we speak, until it can be
done right.  I plan to MFC this for 4.3-R.  Such reboots are
unacceptable.

I also need to sync the branding detection bits between -CURRENT and
-STABLE.  I would appreciate it, of no one else would touch this code for
a few days.
